Work fills the time that you give it.
If you plan for an essay to take 4 hours, it’ll take that whole 4 hours. If you only give yourself 30 minutes before the deadline, it’ll take 30.
Usually, it means that you end up prioritising submitting over a ‘perfect’ essay.
‘This has to be better’ turns into ‘eh good enough’.
It’s pretty surprising what you can complete if you don’t have time to procrastinate. Maybe that’s why so many people think they’re most productive if they leave everything till the last minute.
