Teachers don’t get burnt out from teaching.

They burn out from needing to stick to a strict curriculum, forcing students to ‘learn’ content irrelevant and boring to them, managing a class of 30 unique individuals within a standardised school structure.

Teachers thrive when students love what they do, when they have that lightbulb moment, when they genuinely want to be there. But it doesn’t happen very often.

There’s too many unnecessary rules, tests, criteria to meet, so much so that their love for teaching gets squashed.

Teachers deserve better.
