What’s the most important thing to ‘teach’ in school?

It’s not reading, maths, or even creativity and adaptivity… it is the

HABIT of learning.

As mentioned in the previous post, we need to nurture curiosity in students more than ever. Kids lose their love for learning early on, rarely allowed to dive into their interests further, or are forced to study something they have no interest in.

If we associate learning with what we do in school, then NO WONDER that habit is lost. No wonder we view learning as a chore, as something done TO us.

Care for it.

Protect it.

Prioritise the habit of learning, and watch that child thrive.
